Juju;
This is Juju on intake.
Despite her painful conditions she was one of the sweetest girls! The product of a puppy mill Juju has knee problems, severe allergies, glaucoma, and at intake had a horrible skin condition. At only 3 years of age she lost all sight due to the glaucoma. Juju will remain in our care for the rest of her days.
This is Juju now, to this day you would not believe she is blind, she is and always will be the top dog!
RT;
RT is the inspiration behind WY Rat Terriers Rescue. Although we had been rescuing dogs of all shapes and sizes for years, RT inspired us to help Ratties in need.
Zoey:
Don't tell these gals that they aren't rat terriers! Zoey was such a sweetie we just had to help her. Obviously her adopted Mom thought so too, so much so that when Zena was seen at the same high kill shelter where Zoey was rescued from she was brought home too!
YISKA:
Yiska may not have been a Rattie, but he sure was a special case. Yiska was the only dog not euthanized when a pack of 10 dogs left to fend for themselves were rescued from a small enclosure. The worst off medically, it was a miracle he survived his ordeal. Now Yiska is a beloved family member and an indoor dog with his forever family in Washington.

REMI ****ADOPTED****
Remi was rescued just days before she was scheduled to be put to sleep at a packed California shelter. She is such a sweet heart, you can't help but to fall in love with her. She is a full size Rat Terrier at about 15 pounds but unlike any other Rattie in personality. Remi loves to lay around! She is a relaxed, calm, and extremely gentle girl.
BOOMER: *** ADOPTED ***
At just 10 pounds Boomer is a little guy but don't let his size fool you, he is still a terrier. He loves people and desperately wants someone to love him. Boomer would give anything to have a home he could call his own, one with a couch to lay upon and a bed to snuggle up in. He loves playing with other dogs and doesn't mind sharing his home with cats either but occasionally he likes to make sure the cats will still engage in a game of chase.
DIXIE: *** ADOPTED ***
Dixie is an incredibly smart Rat Terrier! She is 20 pounds of pure joy to train, she learns so fast! Dixie has been trained to sit and to down by hand signal, and we can't wait to teach her more. She is incredibly friendly and more than ready to spend the rest of her life giving someone an abundance of love and devotion. Dixie is also a talker and will happily converse with you. Won't you please give this adorable pup a home of her own to enjoy with you?
